Job summary

Point32Health, Inc. is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. The fellow will study lifecourse influences on health using Project Viva data, under Drs.

Emily Oken and Izzuddin Aris, employed by the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute and appointed as a postdoctoral fellow at HMS. The role emphasizes analysis of large data, collaboration with a diverse team, and preparation of peer-reviewed

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree such as an MD or PhD (preferred) in Epidemiology, Nutrition, Environmental Health, or related field.
• Quantitative analytical skills and experience analyzing large data sets.
• Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (SAS, STATA, R).
• At least one first author publication preferred.
• Interest or experience in Developmental Origins of Health and Disease or women's health is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Self-motivated and able to work well independently, while also working well with teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex data from multiple sources (survey, environmental, dietary, research visits).
• Present analysis results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Prepare articles for peer-reviewed publications and reports.
• Participate in team meetings to shape ongoing research projects.
• Develop new research ideas or assist with proposals.
• Collaborate with others to make a difference each day.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
