Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to design, develop, and maintain engaging digital learning experiences for employees. You will combine instructional design, visual design, multimedia development, and learning technology to create interactive eLearning courses, videos, and performance support resources.

This full-time role supports the department's digital learning strategy and allows for telework one day per week.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and demonstrated experience in instructional design and eLearning.
Experience designing digital learning experiences with multimedia assets and UX considerations.
Proficiency with Articulate Storyline, Rise, and LMS/SCORM standards.

Responsibilities

Design and develop interactive eLearning courses and digital learning experiences.
Apply UX and accessibility principles to create engaging, accessible solutions.
Translate objectives into polished digital products and assets.
Create graphics, animations, audio, and video to enhance learning.
Develop assessments and scenario-based activities to reinforce outcomes.
Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to determine effective learning strategies.
Ensure quality and brand alignment across learning products.
QA across browsers/devices and manage multiple projects to deadlines.
Maintain and update content based on feedback and data.
