Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Program Analyst 1 to support statewide juvenile justice initiatives through data collection, analysis, and reporting. You will gather information from surveys, PaJCMS, and contacts; review records for quality; and prepare dashboards and presentations to inform policy decisions.

The role emphasizes performance measurement and stakeholder coordination, with a mix of on-site and telework options. PA residency is required.

Qualifications

One year of paraprofessional analytical experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Experience using Microsoft Excel to merge, clean, calculate, analyze data, and create charts/graphs.

Responsibilities

Information Gathering: collect data via surveys, agency and county contacts, PaJCMS queries, and documentation.
Data Review: examine juvenile records to identify missing/inconsistent information and maintain spreadsheets.
Technical Analysis: use Excel functions to merge, clean, calculate, analyze, and interpret data; generate charts/graphs.
Report Preparation: draft reports, dashboards, and presentations to convey findings for evaluation and planning.
Performance Measures: review policies and materials; help track program indicators for initiatives.
Stakeholder Support: assist with meeting prep, follow-up, and material development for internal staff and county agencies.
