Job summary

Health & Human Services Comm is seeking a IT Purchaser III to manage IT procurements, evaluate bids, and ensure compliance with state laws and internal policies. The role emphasizes collaboration with various teams, attention to detail, and timely processing of requisitions in a dynamic environment.

The position offers telework potential, regular hours, and opportunities for growth within the Purchasing - Consolidated 2 division. Strong knowledge of CAPPS/SCOR systems is desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Experience in purchasing, admin support or customer service (minimum 6 months).
• CTCD certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Attend work on a regular and predictable schedule.
• Review requisitions and enter information in procurement system.
• Procure IT goods and services using compliant methods.
• Upload procurement files and respond to audits.
• Identify bidders and evaluate bids for best value.
• Monitor volume targets using system reports.
• Collaborate with warehouse, accounting, and agency staff on PO issues.
• Deliver customer service aligned with core principles.
• Participate in workgroups and special projects; support disaster recovery.
