Job summary

Direct Auto is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive profitable growth by generating new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships. The role targets local customers in person and over the phone, leveraging community involvement and referrals to expand the book of business.

You will stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition while delivering results aligned with performance standards and customer experience

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in sales or related roles.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline with local lead gen and referrals.
• Develop community relationships (dealerships, events, local partners) to grow business.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support local sales and marketing initiatives.
