Job summary

Arclin is seeking a Corporate Process Engineer for Alpharetta, GA. This role supports both batch and continuous manufacturing, emphasizing web handling, solids handling and polymer processing.

The engineer collaborates with site engineering, controls, maintenance, safety, and R&T to ensure safe, reliable operations while driving consistent engineering standards across the network. A strong background in chemical/process engineering is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience with batch and continuous processing.
• Working knowledge of PSM-regulated facilities.
• Ability to work across all organizational levels, from plant operations to corporate leadership.
• Experience leading Root Cause Analysis and CAPA activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain systems to ensure consistent quality of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products; provide technical support for manufacturing issues across chemical processing operations.
• Act as liaison between R&T, Technical Service, Marketing & Sales and Manufacturing to support process improvements and scale-up activities.
• Monitor and improve plant efficiency, throughput, yield, and reliability to meet objectives.
• Provide technical guidance to Site Process Engineers and plant teams on unit operations and equipment performance.
• Collaborate on capital/expense projects including design, equipment selection, and cost estimates.
• Apply mass/energy balances, heat/momentum transfer, reaction/separation fundamentals to process and equipment design.
• Support Process Safety Management principles and documentation.
• Lead or support RCA and CAPA development for upsets, deviations, and safety incidents.
