Job summary

Arclin Corporate is seeking a Corporate Process Engineer to join our Alpharetta team, with responsibilities spanning development, evaluation, and improvement of manufacturing methods across materials and production equipment. This role may be remote and reports to the Corporate Process Engineering Manager.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years in a PSM-regulated chemical facility, strong knowledge of process control systems, and proficiency in ASPEN for process simulations.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in a PSM regulated chemical manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of distributive process control systems such as Emerson DeltaV or Honeywell Experion.
• Experience with batch and continuous chemical manufacturing methodologies.
• Experience in leading and facilitating root cause analysis and process hazard analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain systems to ensure quality of raw materials and finished products; liaise between R&T, Technical Service, Marketing & Sales, and Production.
• Monitor and improve plant efficiency to meet supply requirements.
• Provide technical advice on plant operations and process improvements to Site Process Engineers.
• Collaborate on engineering analyses including design, cost analysis, life cycle cost analysis, and equipment selection.
• Lead the Site Process Engineers in applying Process Safety Management principles.
• Apply mass, momentum and heat transfer principles to design and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Lead Corrective and Preventive Action documentation and root cause action planning.
