Job summary

Arclin, headquartered near Alpharetta, GA, seeks a Corporate Process Engineer for PP & FS to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods across chemical processing operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years engineering experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with both batch and continuous processes.
• PSM facilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain systems to ensure consistent quality of materials and products across chemical processing operations.
• Act as liaison between R&T, Technical Service, Marketing & Sales, and Manufacturing for process improvements and scale-up.
• Monitor and improve plant efficiency, throughput, yield, and reliability to meet objectives.
• Provide technical guidance to Site Process Engineers and plant teams on unit operations and equipment performance.
• Collaborate on capital/expense project analyses including design, vendor evaluation, and life-cycle cost analysis.
• Apply mass/energy balances, heat/mass transfer, and reaction/separation fundamentals to process design.
• Support and promote Process Safety Management principles across the network.
• Lead or support RCA and CAPA development for upsets, deviations, failures, and incidents.
