Job summary

Idaho Power Company in Boise, ID, is seeking a Contracting Agent to join our Procurement team. This full-time role negotiates and prepares contract documents, leads competitive bidding, and ensures best value for the company. The position offers flexible schedules and up to 40% remote work after demonstrated proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in negotiating and leading contracts of moderate risk and complexity.
Knowledge of contracting practices, terms, conditions, and SOW development.
Experience with competitive bidding processes and supplier management.
Familiarity with ERP and EAM systems.
Strong business acumen and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of internal customer service and goods contracts of moderate risk and/or complexity.
Manage and schedule competitive bidding processes and negotiate contract documents.
Ensure contracts meet business unit cost objectives and deliver best value for Idaho Power.
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and mentor peers.
