Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) to join our physician-led network of care providers. The role begins onsite in Highlands Ranch, CO during training, with potential remote work for Colorado residents after training completion.

The CPC will translate medical records into coded data for billing, ensuring compliance with coding standards and HIPAA requirements while supporting the revenue cycle and data integrity.

Qualifications

• CPC credential (AAPC) is required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and documentation standards.
• Experience with EHR systems and coding software.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation to assign accurate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, payer policies, and coding guidelines to minimize denials.
• Collaborate with providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date coding knowledge through ongoing education and training.
