Job summary

Arizona Department of Administration, General Services Division, is seeking a skilled Building Engineer to support ASH Hospital facilities in Phoenix. You will manage day-to-day maintenance, troubleshoot multiple systems, and coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders.

You should have hands-on knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance, with availability for weekend/holiday work and after-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues.
• Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, doors, alarms).
• Performs preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Coordinate work orders and liaise with vendors to ensure on-time completion.
• Maintain documentation and records of service requests and repairs.
