Job summary
The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), General Services Division (GSD) is seeking a skilled Building Engineer to support the Arizona State Hospital facilities, ensuring day-to-day maintenance and operation of all building systems. You will manage work orders, coordinate with vendors, and perform corrective and preventative maintenance to maximize equipment life.
Candidates must have hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and a hospital environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, EMS, and HVAC/Stationary systems.
- Familiarity with OSHA and codes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots, maintains, inspects, and repairs building systems.
- Performs preventive maintenance on M/E/P systems.
- Use CMMS for work orders, parts orders, and data.
- Interact with customers and contractors to ensure timely completion.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and longevity.
