Job summary

Terabase Energy in Northern California is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the company’s global accounting operations, ensure accuracy and scalability, and strengthen financial controls across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

You will manage the accounting team, partner with FP&A, Operations, and Engineering, drive close processes, consolidated reporting, budgeting, and system optimization including NetSuite, with a focus on cost/manufacturing accounting and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 8+ years progressive accounting experience with cost/manufacturing focus.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity reporting.
• Experience in international/multi-jurisdiction environments.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP.
• Prior audit experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and close processes.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements monthly, quarterly, annually.
• Assist budgeting, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Oversee cost and manufacturing accounting and BOM reviews.
• Partner with FP&A, Operations, Engineering and Commercial teams.
• Support audits and external/regulatory filings.
• Drive process improvements and automation.
