Job summary

Terabase Energy is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead global accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalable processes. You will manage the accounting team, strengthen controls, and optimize systems for a fast-growing solar software and construction platform.

Responsibilities include multi-entity US GAAP reporting, budgets, and variance analysis, with collaboration across FP&A, Operations, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including cost/manufacturing accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, consolidated financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting.
• Experience operating in international or multi-jurisdictional environments.
• Prior experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Previous audit experience (public accounting or internal audit function).
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting function across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Oversee general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and financial close processes.
• Prepare and review consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and BOM reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Strengthen internal controls and lead external audit coordination.
• Drive automation and process improvements in NetSuite and related systems.
