Job summary

Terabase Energy is seeking an Assistant Controller in Northern California to lead the accounting function across multiple entities and jurisdictions, strengthening controls for a high-growth global business. You will drive close processes, reporting, and compliance while guiding cost and manufacturing accounting initiatives.

You will manage the accounting team, partner with FP&A and Operations, and optimize NetSuite-based systems, ensuring accurate financials and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with cost or manufacturing focus.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, consolidated financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting.
• Experience operating in international or multi-jurisdictional environments.
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Prior audit experience (public or internal).
• Demonstrated leadership managing accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Oversee general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and policy adherence.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
• Assist in budgets, forecasts, and management reports; analyze variances.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and BOM reviews.
• Drive internal controls and coordinate audits and tax filings.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for financial clarity.
