Job summary

Pawnee Mental Health is seeking a School Based Therapist to serve underserved populations in North-Central Kansas. The role involves assessments, treatment planning, and evidence‑based therapy within a multi‑disciplinary team, with outreach to community settings.

Remote eligible as approved, with on-site requirements for meetings and client needs. Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work and Kansas licensure, with willingness to pursue Addictions Counselor licensure if needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology or closely related field.
• Licensed by the Kansas BSRB (or eligible).
• Willing to obtain Licensure as Addictions Counselor if not licensed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments following agency policy and DACTS.
• Develop and document treatment goals with client and family; monitor progress.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy using evidence‑based models.
• Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team across locations.
• Maintain documentation per policy; complete required trainings.
• Attend supervision and participate in daily program staffing.
• Take on-call shifts; manage clinical schedule; flexible hours.
