Job summary

Pawnee Mental Health Services in Kansas seeks licensed clinicians to provide in-home and community-based therapy for individuals and families. You will work within a collaborative clinical team, delivering trauma-informed care and developing individualized treatment plans.

Requires LMSW/LPC/LMFT licensure or eligibility, strong English communication, driving privileges, and a commitment to community-based services with supervision and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or closely related field.
• Licensed LMSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent licensure.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Preferred independent license and 1+ year therapy experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software.

As an Integrated Care Therapist, you bring mental health care directly to clients who might otherwise struggle to access it. You will work with children experiencing Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) and adults living with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), often providing services in clients’ homes or community settings.

What You’ll Be Doing

Compensation And Benefits

We value your expertise and the work you do in the community. Our compensation reflects that.

• $2,500 signing bonus, paid in two installments at 6 months and 1 year
• Up to $9,000 annually in bonus pay by meeting client care expectations and facilitating therapy groups
• Total compensation package exceeding $100,000, including salary, bonus potential, and benefits like:

• Medical and Vision Insurance through BCBS or Aetna, with single coverage typically $50 to $100 per month
• Dental Insurance, 100 percent employer-paid
• KPERS Retirement with a lifetime pension program
• Life Insurance up to 150 percent of annual salary and long-term disability at no cost
• Eight paid holidays each year
• Generous PTO starting at 15 days per year and increasing to 24 days after your first anniversary

Requirements

Required:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or a closely related field. Must meet or be able to meet standards of the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board for licensing as:
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or
• Licensed Masters Level Psychologist (LMLP), or
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language.
• A valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance maintained in accordance with Pawnee policy and procedure.
• Basic personal computer skills which enable the entry, retrieval and use of electronic data.

Preferred

• A license to practice independently and at least one-year experience providing individual or family therapy.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software preferred.
