The State Personnel System seeks an Eligibility Specialist II in Lee County for the Economic Self-Sufficiency program. The role involves determining initial and ongoing eligibility for social services, reviewing complex cases, and training staff. Some travel may be required, and teleworking may be an option in this position.

Two years paraprofessional eligibility experience or an Associate degree plus substitutions are required. Veterans’ preference applies. EEO employer.

Qualifications

• Two years paraprofessional experience in eligibility and related duties.
• An associate degree or 60 semester/90 quarter hours can substitute for the experience.
• One year of Florida DCF EES program experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review and analyze complex cases to evaluate service quality.
• Conduct training and mentoring staff.
• Plan, evaluate, and guide staff toward quality improvement.
• Correct complex casework.
