Job summary

Arkansas Connections Academy seeks an Elementary Teacher to manage virtual instructional programs for students statewide, from Bentonville or a home office within Arkansas. Certified teachers will guide learning coaches and students to complete the program using phone, internet, and curriculum tools.

Responsibilities include grading, progress reporting, conferencing with parents, and delivering both asynchronous and synchronous sessions.

Qualifications

• Must reside within the state of Arkansas or live 300 miles from Bentonville, AR.
• Highly qualified and certified to teach Elementary in Arkansas (grading level varies).
• Strong technology skills (Microsoft OS, MS Office, Google Suite).
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Customer focused approach and high flexibility.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for events and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Grade assignments, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences promptly.
• Support instructional program with asynchronous and synchronous sessions.
• Review curriculum and adapt lessons to improve student understanding with families.
• Coordinate with teachers to ensure student progress and effective communication with parents and learners.
• Assist in organizing field trips and school activities as applicable.
