Job summary

Indiana Connections Academy is seeking an Elementary Teacher to support K-12 students from a home-based, remote Indiana setting. You will manage instructional programs, conduct asynchronous web conferences, grade assignments, prepare progress reports, and collaborate with learning coaches to ensure each child completes the program successfully.

Qualifications

• Certified to teach Elementary grades in Indiana (K-5).
• Strong technology skills with Microsoft OS, MS Office programs, and Google Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Highly organized and punctual, with a customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions and synchronous instruction.
• Complete grading, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences timely.
• Communicate with parents and students to develop and update Personal Learning Plans.
• Develop general knowledge of the curriculum and provide additional assistance as needed.
• Keep student records up-to-date, including attendance and contacts.
• Collaborate with team members and staff learning specialists on enrichment activities.
• Assist with field trips and integrate them into the curriculum where possible.
• Participate in state testing organization and other required activities.
