Job summary

Air Reading is seeking tutors to deliver small-group reading lessons online for elementary students across the United States. You will conduct 30-40 minute sessions via Zoom with up to four students, following a structured curriculum grounded in the Science of Reading.

Required: Bachelor’s degree, US work authorization, Zoom proficiency, strong communication, and reliable remote availability Monday–Friday. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Proficiency with Zoom and digital teaching tools is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication with elementary students is required.
• Dependability in scheduling and remote instruction is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small-group phonics and reading lessons via Zoom for groups of up to four students.
• Maintain fidelity to structured literacy and Science of Reading approaches.
• Record results and monitor student progress using established tools.
• Provide timely feedback to students and school partners to support literacy growth.
• Create a positive virtual learning environment and promote engagement and on-task behavior.
• Participate in training, curriculum orientation, and coaching to ensure quality.
