Job summary

BookNook is recruiting tutors to support students across the United States in math and reading, with most sessions 30 minutes and peak demand from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM ET. You will be a 1099-eligible independent contractor, using pre-designed curriculum and flexible scheduling, with attendance expectations to provide stable sessions for students.

Ideal candidates include classroom teachers or tutors with online instruction experience and a college degree; residence within the United States

Qualifications

• Experience: Classroom teacher, tutoring, coaching, or similar student support; online instruction experience with a college degree preferred
• Tutoring Focus: Deliver pre-designed, best-practice math lessons to support students often seeking to improve skills at or below grade level
• Rapport: Ability to build meaningful professional connections and a supportive learning environment
