Job summary

Lighthouse Connections Academy is seeking an Elementary Math Interventionist to support MTSS and RTI with push-in and pull-out instruction from Southfield, MI or a home office. The role emphasizes intensive Tier 3 interventions for struggling students and collaboration with general and special education staff.

Required are MI teaching certification and 5 years of full-time teaching experience, strong communication, and willingness to travel for occasional in-person events.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification in the required subject matter and grade band.
• Minimum of 5 years full-time successful teaching experience in the required subject matter and grade band.
• Michigan Residency Required.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Technologically proficient and able to travel for in-person events when required.

Responsibilities

• Support MTSS/RTI framework through push-in and pull-out interventions.
• Coordinate SST processes with principals, parents and staff.
• Plan and implement Tier 2/3 interventions and monitor progress.
• Administer and analyze data to refine instruction and support.
• Maintain records, communicate with families, and participate in professional development.
