As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions, Facility Solutions Group is expanding its team and seeking a Remote Electrical Service Technician.

You will perform terminal and electrical service, repair, maintenance, testing, and installation tasks across various facilities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing wiring circuits, lighting, system controls, and related electrical equipment, as well as sourcing parts for maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate is prompt, dependable, and committed to high standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.
• Prepare sketches or follow diagrams/blueprints for wiring and equipment installation, ensuring concealed wiring is completed before finishing walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on specifications.
• Design installations to minimize waste, facilitate future maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance with codes.
• Test electrical systems and circuits for safety and compatibility using testing devices.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or aerial equipment to install or repair electrical wiring and fixtures, performing physically demanding tasks with proper tools.
• Adhere to government, local regulations, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in lighting or electrical maintenance.
• Journeyman’s License, four-year apprenticeship, or Master’s License.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to drive a company vehicle.
