Job summary

IE Corp. is seeking a Remote - Field Service Technician (Electrical) to service the Eastern Region, based in Columbus, Ohio. Core schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, with a comprehensive benefits package and company vehicle use.

The role involves installation, repair, testing of electrical and mechanical equipment, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and occasional nationwide travel. Strong technical background and field experience are required.

Qualifications

Electrical/Mechanical/Commissioning or Assembly background with 3+ years' experience and at least three years of field experience.
Business experience in a similar job position with emphasis on supplier agreements with general or subcontractors.
Journeyman Electrician/HVAC/Commissioning Certification or License from any state, or Electrical Engineering/Technical degree with related field experience.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and test field equipment per customer specifications and company procedures.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and controls equipment; troubleshoot software issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and QA/QC to ensure optimal performance and revenue generation.
Travel to support areas nationwide and possibly overseas.
Complete service reports with documented steps, parts used, and problem resolution.
