Intermountain Electronics (IE) seeks a Remote Field Service Technician for the Eastern Region, based remotely in Pittsburgh, PA. You will install, diagnose, repair and test power distribution equipment at customer sites across North America.

The role requires 3+ years of electrical/mechanical field experience, travel as needed, and strong problem-solving with safety and quality in mind. Competitive salary with benefits including health, 401(k) and company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical/Commissioning or Assembly background with 3+ years' experience.
• 1-2 years of business and contracting experience with suppliers.
• Strong PC skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and test field equipment per specs.
• Diagnose electrical/mechanical/controls malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Travel to support regional projects and service calls.
• Maintain safety standards and on-site documentation.
