Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and project management activities. The role can be fully remote or assigned to a local office, with opportunities to collaborate across design, build, and procurement teams.

The position requires an associate degree or equivalent and electrical estimating experience; strong communication, code knowledge, and planning skills are essential for delivering accurate estimates and cost analyses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in construction management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of electrical construction estimating experience.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical contracts, plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical code.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plans and monitors the estimating activities of each project for quality and accuracy of work.
• Reviews bidding documents with the project manager and chief estimator to determine general expenses, labor rates and other costs.
• Utilizes estimating software to properly estimate projects.
• Surveys job sites as needed for scope of work and cost‑effective planning.
• Composes estimate documents in an accurate, complete and professional manner.
• Assists in interview procurement, proposal writing for RFPs, bids and related reports.
• Ensures all estimates and RFPs meet customer and company satisfaction standards.
• Collaborates with purchasing to reduce material buyout risk.
• Partners with design teams on design build and design assist projects.
• Provides coaching, mentoring, and training to co-workers as needed.
