Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to assist preconstruction and project management teams with estimates, bid reviews, and cost analyses. You will collaborate with various teams, mentor junior estimators, and participate in business development and client management.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of electrical estimating experience, strong analytical skills, and expert knowledge of electrical codes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in construction management or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of electrical construction experience in estimating, code requirements, and design/build estimating.
• Experience using Accubid or similar estimating software.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand electrical contracts, plans, drawings, blueprints, and specifications; extensive knowledge of electrical codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Experience in project management and understanding of the project life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates estimates, bid documents, and reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Reviews subcontractor quotes and conducts take-offs to optimize labor efficiency.
• Leads estimate review meetings and assists in procurement for RFPs.
• Determines project costs in collaboration with project manager and chief estimator.
• Supports design-build projects with constructible design reviews and cost analysis.
• Mentors junior estimators and maintains client relationships.
