Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our Oak Ridge, TN office, with a flexible in-office/remote work model. The role focuses on electrical design, field assessments, and construction support across government and industrial projects.

Qualified candidates will have an ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree, an FE license, and at least three years of design experience. Strong communication and ability to draft proposals are a plus.

Qualifications

• BS-Electrical Engineering from an ABET-certified institution.
• FE License is required.
• Three or more years of electrical engineering design experience.
• Construction support experience for Title 3 activities.
• Sole US citizenship required for government work.
• Short Circuit Analysis experience.
• Some knowledge of the NEC.
• Experience leading technical discussions with clients.
• Ability to author proposals and statements of work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering design and construction support tasks.
• Survey/assess existing facilities and scope engineering effort; estimate workload.
• Develop drawings, specifications, calculations; assist with cost estimating.
