Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and analysis of complex electrical systems for nuclear and commercial projects in a remote-capable role aligned with our Oak Ridge, TN activities.

You will apply extensive codes and standards (IEEE, IEC, EPRI), conduct advanced calculations, and produce engineering documentation while mentoring junior staff. A BS in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of experience, and a PE are highly valuable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PE license is highly desirable.
• Master’s degree preferred; 7+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems for nuclear and commercial projects.
• Interface with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliant and optimized designs.
• Prepare design media, wiring diagrams, and control philosophy documents; mentor junior engineers.
