AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer for data centers with remote work options in the U.S. You will design electrical systems for colocation and hyperscale facilities, focusing on high-density power distribution, backup systems, and NEC compliance.

The role is remote-friendly with occasional travel to client meetings and sites. Candidates should have a PE license, 6+ years in MEP design, and experience with Revit/ACC, SKM/ETAP for power analysis.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering with 6+ years of MEP design experience.
• Experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects.
• Experience working in Revit and ACC.
• Experience working in power system analysis such as SKM, or ETAP.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, Building codes including IBC and IECC.
• Professional Engineer License (P.E.)

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement electrical systems for hyper-scale data centers, including medium and low-voltage power distribution, backup power systems, and emergency systems.
• Responsible for electrical calculations and development of drawings in accordance to client specifications and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, bills of materials, and installation drawings
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations, including National Electric Code (NEC)
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to develop specifications, design criteria, and project budgets
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering and data center technologies.
