Job summary

Talent ACQ is seeking a senior electrical engineer for a confidential search on behalf of a growing electrical engineering consultancy in the Northeast. The role offers a ground-floor seat, reporting to the owner, with a remote-first setup and occasional regional site visits.

You will influence standards, checklists, and libraries to accelerate future projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. This role emphasizes reliability, scalability, and proactive leadership, leveraging AI tools

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of electrical engineering in building/AEC design.
• Strong command of NEC, energy codes, and life-safety requirements.
• Ability to manage remote/contract drafting and modeling resources.

Responsibilities

• Design building electrical systems for renovation and new construction.
• Perform load calculations, service sizing, panel schedules, and code reviews.
• Prepare construction documents, submittals, and RFIs.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, utilities, and AHJs.
• Site visits, field verification, and as-builts; attend OAC meetings.
• Leverage AI/LLM tools to speed up calculations and drafting.
