Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Lead Electrical Design Engineer for a fully remote position. You will lead the design of advanced electrical systems, guide a team of engineers, and set design standards across global product initiatives.

This role emphasizes autonomy, cross-functional collaboration with product, hardware, and software teams, and a strong focus on power electronics, embedded systems, and signal integrity. Welkom-based remote work expectations are noted.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design, with a strong focus on complex system architecture.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing design projects.
• Expertise in power electronics, embedded systems, and signal integrity.
• Proficiency with simulation and modeling tools (e.g., ANSYS, SPICE, MATLAB).
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, suitable for a fully remote role based out of Welkom.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design process from conceptualization through to detailed design and validation.
• Develop and maintain high-level electrical system architectures and specifications.
• Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
• Oversee the selection of components, performance analysis, and adherence to design standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other product components.
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies.
