Job summary

Actalent, based in New York City, invites an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing MEP team in a 100% remote role. You will design electrical systems for diverse building projects, lead design packages with AutoCAD and Revit, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams virtually.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of MEP design experience, strong NEC/NFPA knowledge, and a track record of delivering complete construction documents while managing projects remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 6+ years of professional electrical design experience, preferably in MEP/building design.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Independently design electrical systems for building projects from concept to construction documents.
• Develop complete lighting, power, and electrical design packages using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop calculations, panel schedules, and distribution system design.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers and provide technical guidance.
