Job summary

Eatons Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division is seeking an Electrical Construction Quality Engineer (QA/QC) for remote work within the United States with up to 75% travel. The role ensures conformance to design drawings, project specs, and codes, supporting teams through quality control, inspections, submittals, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or 10 years QA/QC on commercial electrical construction.
• 7+ years QA/QC on commercial/industrial electrical construction.
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship; valid drivers license.
• Experience with electrical installation testing, commissioning, and energization.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality control activities for EPC construction projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, codes, and customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain project quality documentation (QMPs, inspection reports, test records, punch lists, closeout packages).
• Conduct field inspections, audits, and quality reviews to identify defects and corrective actions.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and commissioning plans to verify quality requirements.
• Manage third-party testing and inspection providers; support factory witness testing and system turnover.
