Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division seeks an Electrical Construction Quality Engineer (QA/QC) capable of leading quality control across EPC projects. This remote role requires travel up to 75% and collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum seven years of QA/QC or quality assurance in commercial electrical construction.
• Experience overseeing QA/QC for electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and energization.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality control activities for EPC construction projects ensuring compliance with requirements and codes.
• Develop and maintain Quality Management Plans and inspection/test records.
• Conduct field inspections, audits, and reviews to identify defects and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers to resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and commissioning plans for constructability and quality.
