Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is looking for a skilled Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to enhance our construction and engineering teams with advanced 3D modeling capabilities. This role requires expertise in BIM software and the ability to integrate design data while collaborating across disciplines. The ideal candidate will also assist with documentation and project management. This position can be fully remote or based out of our Lexington, KY HQ or Greenville, SC office, with a strong focus on safety and quality in delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software, especially Revit.
• Ability to create detailed drawings from models.
• Solid understanding of construction methods and standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed 3D models of electrical systems.
• Integrate information from various disciplines into the model.
• Identify and resolve spatial conflicts using tools.

Skills

Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, Navisworks)

Ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models

Sound understanding of construction methods and terminology

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Attention to detail

Ability to create/modify basic Revit families

Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
