Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is looking for a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support our construction and engineering teams. This role involves creating and maintaining 3D BIM models, integrating multidisciplinary design data, and performing clash detection. Strong communication skills and proficiency in BIM software such as Revit or Solidworks are essential. The position offers flexibility for remote work or can be based in our Lexington, KY HQ or Greenville, SC office.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks.
• Ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Sound understanding of construction methods and terminology, building codes, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret design information.

Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed 3D models of electrical systems.
• Integrate design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identify and resolve spatial conflicts using clash detection tools.
• Generate drawings, schedules, and visualizations from the 3D model.
• Ensure the BIM model remains current with design changes.
