Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling and coordination. The role involves creating accurate BIM models of electrical designs and generating construction documentation.

This position is eligible for remote work or to work from our Lexington, KY HQ or Greenville, SC office. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in BIM tools and strong communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks.
• Ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
• Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts between different building components.
• Generating drawings, schedules, and visualizations to support construction planning.
