Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is expanding and seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling and coordination. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining accurate BIM models, performing clash detection, and generating construction documentation.

This role is eligible for fully remote work or at our locations in Lexington, KY, or Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in BIM software and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in creating detailed 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Sound understanding of construction methods and terminology, building codes, and industry standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
• Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Generating drawings, schedules, and visualizations from the 3D model.

Skills
