Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support electrical design and construction teams. In this role, you will create and maintain accurate BIM models, facilitate clash detection, and assist with project planning. The ideal candidate has proficiency in BIM software like Revit, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of electrical practices. This position offers remote work flexibility or the option to work from our Lexington, KY HQ or Greenville, SC office.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit or Navisworks.
• Sound understanding of construction methods and terminology.
• Ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems.
• Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts between building components.
• Generating drawings, schedules, and visualizations from BIM models.
