Atlantic Constructors, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking an Electrical Designer to support modular manufacturing and data center infrastructure.

You will perform electrical, instrumentation, and controls design across capital projects and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and fabrication teams. The role emphasizes creating detailed drawings in Revit, developing electrical components, and ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Electrical, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent science degree.
• 5+ years of related experience in a Design Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role.
• 5+ years of Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls installation experience
• Advanced knowledge of API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.
• Creates solutions to complex problems and provides recommendations

Responsibilities

• Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls design for Capital Projects.
• Create client drawings and detailed fabrication drawings using Revit.
• Develop electrical Revit families and custom electrical components.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnection schedules, and panel schedules.
• Design and coordinate MCCs, switchboards, panelboards, PDUs, CDUs, PLC systems, and fire alarm systems
• Supporting Engineering and Construction Contractors on an as needed basis.
• Maintains and applies company instrumentation design criteria and specifications.
