Atlantic Constructors Inc. seeks an Electrical Designer to support modular manufacturing projects across the United States.

The role focuses on electrical, instrumentation, and controls design for capital projects, with emphasis on safe operations, regulatory compliance and maximizing unit availability. The ideal candidate will contribute to modular building and data center infrastructure efforts while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Electrical, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent science degree.
• 5+ years' related experience in a Design Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role.
• 5+ years' Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls installation experience.
• Advanced knowledge of technical standards and guidelines (API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE).

Responsibilities

• Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls design for Capital Projects.
• Create client issue drawings and detailed fabrication drawings using Revit.
• Develop electrical Revit families and custom electrical components.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnection schedules, and panel schedules.
• Design and coordinate MCCs, switchboards, panelboards, PDUs, CDUs, PLC systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Support Engineering and Construction Contractors as needed.
• Support Operations and Maintenance as a technical resource.
• Apply industry codes to industrial facilities.
• Provide instrumentation and controls design support across project phases.
• Maintain instrumentation design criteria and specifications.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation-related issues.
• Assist in factory acceptance testing and field inspections.
• Create/update design documents: loop sheets, motor schematics, panel schedules, I/O cabinets, onelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
