Job summary

gpac LLC. is seeking an Electrical BIM Coordinator for a 100% remote role to support commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.

You will develop and coordinate BIM models, perform clash detection, and ensure accurate electrical drawings in collaboration with project teams. The ideal candidate has experience in electrical BIM coordination, strong software skills (Revit/Navisworks), and the ability to work independently with remote teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical BIM coordination within the electrical construction industry.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM coordination software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents.
• Understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with remote project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and coordinate electrical BIM models for commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts with other building systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and electrical layouts for accuracy.
• Produce coordinated drawings, shop drawings, and installation details.
• Identify potential field conflicts and communicate solutions before installation.
• Maintain model accuracy and ensure deliverables meet project requirements.
• Support project teams throughout preconstruction and construction.
