Cambium Assessment, a premier provider of educational assessments, is looking for an ELA Test Developer I. This remote, full-time role focuses on creating and reviewing high-quality test items aligned to state specifications while engaging in internal reviews and client-facing activities under supervision.

The candidate will balance item development with project responsibilities, lead grade-level initiatives as needed, and participate in virtual reviews and data discussions to ensure rigorous

Qualifications

• Strong item writing and reviewing skills demonstrating depth in educational content development.
• Experience as a teaching professional or in Educational Assessment is expected.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to identify problems and conceptualize solutions while prioritizing deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Write effective test items using state item specifications.
• Understand grade-level blueprints and translate them into item pools.
• Monitor item pool development under supervision of content leads.
• Lead or participate in item review meetings, rubric validation, and data review sessions.
• Support grade level/grade band development with supervision and client interaction as needed.
