• Bachelors degree in English or related field is required.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated imagination, analysis skills and attention to detail.

• Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with others.
• Required travel for this position ranges from 1 to 6 trips per year.

Responsibilities

• Work in interdisciplinary teams to craft test items and performance tasks to measure what students have learned.
• Finds stimulus material for test use, obtaining copyright permission as needed.
• Craft and review the items themselves, using state-of-the-art tools to create interactive items, simulations, and other tasks.
• Participates in group item reviews.
• Records team feedback on test items at one-on-one meetings and group review sessions.
• Assists with the assembly of field test and operational test forms.
• Contributes to the creation of ancillary testing materials for interpretive guides, score reports, and item release websites.
• Helds with senior staff in management of test item pools and development of new assessments, products, and services.
• Assists with the creation of test specifications.
