Job summary

K12 Coalition seeks Educational Consultants to deliver high-impact ELA coaching and embedded support across partner schools. The role emphasizes coaching educators, developing strong instructional resources, and leading content strategy to close opportunity gaps.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in literacy leadership, strong communication skills, and experience delivering both virtual and in-person professional learning. Travel to partner sites is required weekly in the Southwest region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in literacy or proven content expertise strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience teaching, coaching, and leading in an elementary or secondary literacy setting.
• 3+ years of K-12 leadership experience as an assistant principal, principal, charter or district-level director, or superintendent.
• Experience working with diverse learner populations across charter, public, and private settings.

Responsibilities

• Strategically set the vision for high-impact instruction for assigned content areas.
• Design and develop instructional materials and resources tailored to each partner’s needs.
• Ensure high-quality instructional management plans, PD, and coaching to teachers and leaders.
• Monitor progress through onsite coaching and data analysis.
