Job summary

Ohio Transmission Corporation seeks a Safety Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across IFM operations, service centers, repair facilities, and field sites for the FDF business. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety/environmental health or related field.
• 5-8 years EHS experience in industrial environments.
• 2+ years in leadership or multi-site roles preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour GI certification required.
• CSP/ASP/CHST/OHST or similar certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations, NFPA 70E, LOTO, Machine Guarding, HAZCOM.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EHS software; willing to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all EHS programs across IFM operations and customer sites.
• Conduct safety audits and hazard assessments in shop and field environments.
• Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA and related regulatory compliance.
• Manage EHS recordkeeping, incident reporting, and metrics.
• Deliver engaging safety training programs including LOTO and NFPA 70E.
• Investigate incidents; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Lead safety committees and promote proactive safety culture.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and fire protection system integrity.
• Partner with leaders to develop site-specific safety improvement plans.
• Review contractor safety plans and audit third-party compliance.
• Support customer safety requirements and site compliance.
