Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Projects EHS Portfolio Leader to drive safety leadership across North America, partnering with TAs, site managers and contractors to improve EHS performance on Gas Power projects. This role emphasizes planning, training, risk assessment and audit activities across EO and EEP project scopes.

The ideal candidate will bring robust EHS experience on power projects, strong coaching and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% as needed to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university; or 8+ years power-plant EHS experience.
• In lieu of degree, 8+ years in power plants with 3+ years EHS experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Project Site, outage or Construction EHS experience.
• Fluent in English reading, writing, speaking.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support Site EHS Plans for multiple projects.
• Provide day-to-day EHS coaching for Site Managers.
• Monitor site EHS rules and update plans with TAs and Site Manager.
• Apply EHS policies and maintain the EHS Management System.
• Review method statements and risk assessments against requirements.
• Lead EHS training needs analysis and plan.
• Maintain EHS records for project duration.
• Coordinate with leaders and partners to implement EHS activities.
• Identify non-compliance and escalate as needed.
• Support EHS KPIs and report trends to leadership.
