Job summary

GE Vernova seeks an experienced EHS Site Leader to provide environmental, health, and safety support for the Marcus Hook Energy Center. The role requires managing regulatory compliance, leading EHS programs, and mentoring site staff within a growing power facilities environment.

The successful candidate will partner with operations, lead investigations, coordinate training, and ensure timely regulatory reporting while maintaining strong relationships with regulators and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 4 years of EHS experience in an industry or manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong oral and written communication and knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of site EHS activities to ensure full compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Implement and execute EHS programs and processes.
• Maintain site-specific EHS programs and plans.
• Provide guidance and interpretation of EHS regulations to management.
• Partner with operations to manage site EHS compliance activities (inspections, training, monitoring, sampling).
• Lead site audits and risk assessments to drive improvement.
• Lead site injury/illness prevention programs and investigations.
• Manage EHS training programs and conduct classroom sessions.
• Prepare and submit site regulatory reports (air, water, hazardous materials, waste, OSHA).
• Collaborate with external EHS consultants and internal resources on initiatives.
